Ponte vecchio

So as many of you know my creative heart or a huge portion of it is in Italy. 
Florence pulls me to it like to it like the moon to the sea....
We have been fortunate to spend a lot of time in Italy and in particular Florence, other Tuscan towns and villages and Venice. 
As we emersed our souls in Italy and all its history and beauty I took my Sketchbook and a variety of artist mediums along in my trusty artists bag.
It never really crossed my mind to sell my priliminary sketches and what I call my 'visual poetry' like a diary of my thoughts and observations. These are rough, primal and initial sketches created 'en plein air' often with espresso or Gelato in hand (skills).
So here is my first offering from my Artist's sketch book 'Ponte Vecchio' which I painted using inks and pen sitting on a warm and sunny afternoon sitting on the banks of the River Arno in Florence. 
The ink drawing is just shy of 6 inches on Art quality watercolour paper and the outer mount is white and 10 inches. This comes in a outer protective sleeve.
